EXAMPLE

Dear Mrs Lake,

It’s nice to hear from you and I am happy to answer your questions.

I think it’d be a great idea to have a party with the whole class.

Regarding the party, I think we should have our party at the park due to the fact that we’re in the classroom all the time so this would be a nice change.

There are some ping pong tables at the park and I can bring my football so why don’t we make teams and have a tournament?

In my opinion, we should have a barbecue. We can bring meat and some drinks like Coca Cola and everyone will be happy. Thanks again and see you in class.

Looking forward to your reply.

Best wishes,

Jane

Perfect for busy learners!
Each episode of 6 Minute English lasts just six minutes and introduces an everyday topic (from technology to culture, science, or lifestyle). The presenters explain new words and expressions, give short dialogues, and provide examples you can use in real life.

👉 Level: usually B1–B2 (intermediate to upper-intermediate), but advanced students can still benefit from it by focusing on idiomatic expressions, collocations, and pronunciation.
