  4. The novel I have read is “It ends with us” by Colleen Hoover.
The main ideas it explores are domestic violence, homelessness and empowerment making dreamed jobs come true.
The main character is Lily, a woman who has lived her whole childhood seeing domestic violence from her father to her mother. Her dreamed job was to own a flower business and she did it. The story tells how she starts dating Ryle and everything looked perfect until she started suffering domestic violence. Another main character is Atlas. Lily got to know him as a teenager when he was homeless. Nowadays he owns his own succesfull restaurant.
First of all, I have learnt that you have to dedicate your life to what makes you happy. On the one hand, I have learnt that you have to be able to detect red flags to avoid violence and, on the other hand, that you can't judge a violence victim because you are not in her/his position, you don't know what is happening inside and you don't know how you would have reacted in that situation.
I absolutely recommend this book because it makes you see the reality, things are not black or white and sometimes domestic violence might look like accidents.

It ends with us by Collen Hoover... is a book gripping and moving that little by little is hooking the reader. It begins as a simple story of love. However, as the book progresses, it leads to a wonderful story in which feelings such as friendship, first adolescent love, adult love, passion, fear, violent gender...etc are mixed. Its main character Lily shows , through some letters , her teenager love life and how she meets Atlas, her first love. Not only does the author tell Lily's life, but she also of her mother. The novel perfectly describes different scenes of mistreatments and as both women are victims of gender violence. When Lily stars a relationship with Rily, a gorgeous neurosurgeon everything en Lily's life changed. He is passionate, sensitive, brilliant... But he is also jealous and an unpredictable man. With him, she discover from the most beautiful feeling to the most ruthless. From my point of view, this book is fantastic, totally recommended. It's been a long time since I enjoyed reading so much. I also have to admit it is the only English book that has got to move me. My favorite part it is note from the author, where the writer recognize that she was inspired by her mother to write this novel. Honestly, don't miss it¡.

  6. The forty rules of love is a novel written by Elif Shafak.Published in 2009,this novel is influenced by her gender studies.
Three main characters appear,Ella ,a wife with three children and a pleasant home, who after 20 years of marriage realises that she is unhappy;Rumi, a poet in real life and Shams of Tabriz,a spiritual advisor who becomes part of Rumi’s life.
The novel is divided into two time periods, Ella’s life in 2009 and that of the other characters in the 13 th century.
When Ella discovers a manuscript narrating the lives of these characters, she embarks on a journey to meet the author of this work. What starts as an email exchange turns into something more. Ella wants to justify her own affair through fabricated values and rules attributed to Rumi or Tabriz.
At this moment of my life which I see myself reflected in Ella’s one, what the book has taught me is to seek happiness by giving preference to myself. Despite living a similar situation to Ella’s ,I wouldn’t recommend the book because the rest of the story doesn’t convince me.But it you consider yourself a spiritual person and want to delve into the world of mysticism, this is the book for you.Go ahead!

  7. C1 M.D.P. BOOK: THE FIRM by JOHN GRISHAM.
The novel deals with the story of Mitch Mcdeere, a young man who has just finished a degree in law after many hardships and running out of cash all his life. He applies for a remarkable law firm located in Memphis which offers the highest salary, a luxury car a big house to live in. Mitch has got a brother called RAY who is in jail charged with robbery. Mitch´s wife ( ABBY) is upset because his husband spends about fourteeen hours at work on a daily basis.
As time passes by our main character finds out that the Firm´s customers are criminals and drug dealers. He realizes that his working place is really a bloodthirsty business whose target is helping millionaires to hide their illegal money in off-shore accounts to avoid paying taxes. Moreover they are also getting money laundered and tax evasion for the MAFIA.
TARRANCE WAYNE, a FBI special agent meets Mitch several times to let him know about the dangerous organization he belongs to. Mitch hires a private investigator ( EDDIE LOMAX) to look into some former lawyers´deaths who worked for the company under suspicious circumstances. Later on Eddie is shot in the back.
Mitch comes up with a plan by making a deal to provide the FBI copies if illegal documents and getting his brother RAY released from prison in return.
In the end Mitch´s plan pulls off. Anyway he keeps for himself evidence related to MAFIA. He goes to Chicago presenting himself as their loyal attorney to MAFIA who looks out for their clients´interests. He shall keep these papers of illegal activities in a secure place. As long as his family is safe and sound that evidence will be kept " under the lawyer- customer confidence premise". In conclusion, RAY is freed and Mitch moves to Boston to keep on working as a freelance lawyer..just like starting over....
Personally, what I have learnt from the reading of this novel is that Mitch played smart on both sides of the game: FBI and the MAFIA. My views about justice have changed over the years. As a young man at law school one has some noble ideas of what a lawyer should be: a defender of the freedom and the underdog, the champion of individual rights, a person with values and honesty. Unhopefully winning is currently the main aim at trials, no matter if the accused is guilty or innocent, or if you are right or wrong. However, let´s be optimisitic to think that there are still attorneys who are nor willing to sell out their beliefs and principles.

The book "It ends with us", written by Colleen Hoover advocates that true love doesn't hurt you. Author tries to provide a perspective on how people who are victims of domestic violence feel as well as the importance of preventing and ending it.
There is mixture of feelings and values embodied in this book such as friendship, love, perseverance, courage, strength, hate, anger, fear, forgiveness, hope, etc. The main characteres are Lily, Atlas and Ryle. Onte one hand, Lily Tells her love story with Ryle who is a man really handsome, polite and kind. On the other hand, Lily reads her memories written when she was younger, in which tells her love story with a homeless guy called Atlas and also the mistreatments she experiences at home. The book takes an unexpected turn when Lily reveals that Ryle is not the man she thought he was.
In mi opinion this book could help people spot domestic violenve as well as to support the victims of it. I highly recommend this gripping book so go out and read it!!

  10. "It ends with us" was written by Collen Hoover. Part a romantic novel, part realistic, this story is inspired by real happenings on her and her mother´s life.
Set in Boston, "It ends with us" tells the story of Lily a young college woman whose mother was treated with domestic violence. The novel opens with the encounter between Lily and Ryle Kincaid, a resident surgeon, on a rooftop. At first, Ryle didn´t want a relationship due to his bad temper. Lily is always revising her past with Atlas her first love. She writes a journal with letters to a famous presenter where she tells her feelings. The main characters are Lily, Ryle, Atlas, Alissa, Marshall and Lily´s mother.
What I have learnt about this book is that nothing is black or white. Colleen takes up a major social issue and give it a new view. Sometimes people question why the victims don´t do anything when things go wrong. The book gives plenty food for thought, so I strongly recommend reading it.

  11. The book, which I have read,is "Mr.Stink". The book tells the story of a society where people are selfish and evil with other People, however a little girl is the light in the darkness.
The girl is the main protagonist ( Chloe) who know a homeless in the street. She tries to help him, however her Mother,Who is evil and wants to be a ministery, hates to homeless and unemployes(her husband does not work but she does not know it). In middle of the story, the mother knows to the homeless and she tries to use him for her plan of being a minister., however, the hotmeless ,who is a lord that, lives in the street, does not want to help her in nothing.
In the end, thanks to Mr. Stick, the mother changed her aptitude and the family who was divided, now it more united since this family learnt from him.
I have learnt of this book that we have to be more understandable and humble with other People
I would recommend this book since you can learn some things of Mr Stick and the little girl, however,if you prefer an action book, you shouldn't read it,because this book is very. calm.
