PANCAKE RECIPE


INGREDIENTS

150 G. FLOUR
half a teaspoon of SALT
50 G. BUTTER

30 G. SUGAR
200 G. MILK
2 EGGS
one teaspoon of BAKING POWDER

PROCEDURE

MIX ALL INGREDIENTS WITH A BLENDER
KEEP THE BATTER IN THE FRIDGE FOR 30 MINUTES

PUT A BIT OF BUTTER ON A HOT FRYING PAN AND ADD A LITTLE BIT OF BATTER( TWO TABLE SPOONS PER PANCAKE)
COOK UNTILL BUBBLY THEN TUN AND BROWN THE OTHER SID

SERVE THEM WITH CREAM, STRAWBERRY OR PEACH JAM , PATÉ, CHOCOLATE SYRUP, MAPLE SYRUP ( THIS IS TYPICALLY AMERICAN, I LOVE THEM WITH THIS), ETC.

ENGLISH PEOPLE EAT THEM WITH A SPRINKLE OF SUGAR AND A DASH OF LEMON JUICE

  2. Hello Paqui, I would like to share a recipe called scone. My son made it to celebrate something about Ireland, he is studing 1st ESO (bilingual).
    Ingredients
    225g flour
    2 teaspoons baking powder
    50g butter
    50g sugar
    15ml milk
    Instructions
    1.- heat the oven to 220º
    2.- put the flour in a bowl, add the butter
    3.- with your hands, rub the butter into the flour until the mixture looks like breadcrumbs
    4.- add the sugar and mix
    5.- add the milk and mix quickly, make a dough
    6.- put a littlo flour onto the work surface, roll out the dough to 2cm thick
    7.- cut out 8 circles
    8.- put the 8 circles onto a baking tray, bake them for 12'.
    Eat the scones with clotted cream and strawberry jam.
